Sure-Lok Hydraulic Wireline Valve (WLV)
Omega PCE’s Sure-Lok Hydraulic Wireline Valve (WLV) is a safety device used to provide a positive barrier during well service operations, providing a blind seal or a seal on static wire, and or shearing function.
They are available as standard in single, dual, triple, or quad ram configurations in a full range of sizes, pressure ratings, and Quick Unions or API Flanges.
The SURE-GUIDE ram ensures the wire is centralised into the inner seal safely, even with a loose or kinked wire. Inner seals can be supplied line size specific or multi-line in various materials to suit well conditions.
- Plate type cylinder retention design facilitates rapid ram removal and redress, ram inner and outer seals can be accessed quickly.
- Mono block type body.
- Easy to operate equalisation manifold with cartridge style valve.
- Metal to metal seals and elastomer back-ups on union to body connection.
- The mono block ram bores and cylinder sealing surfaces are Xylan coated as standard, an option of Inconel inlay is available.
- Ram position Indicators.
- Non-rising stems.
- Cylinder design has minimal components.
- Rams fully invertible.
- Hydraulically operated cylinders with manual locking device.
- Surge-Guide rams feature our multiline inner seals capable of sealing from blind to 5/16”.
- Fully certified in accordance with API 6A.
- The Omega Sure-Grip collar is fitted as standard on all unions.
